„Heldurðu að brunnin jörð sé einhver leikvöllur fyrir börn?“ -from Lokaæfing by Svava Jakobsdóttir.

Lilja vallarins (Lily of the Valley) is Magnus’ first solo project from ‘Theater and Performance Making’ at IUA. Magnus used the assignment to focus on texture, material and the visual experience. Magnus, alongside his classmate Una Torfadóttir, used the script for Lokaæfing by Svava Jakobsdóttir as inspiration for the piece. The result is a visual exploration of the value of feminine beauty in a destructive patriarchal society.
