Átta sneiðar (Eight slices) is a post-dramatic play written in a writing course at IUA. It explores themes of ageing, namely the absurdity of the human lifespan and the function of social roles in a late-capitalist society. The play is a collection of intertwining monologues and snippets of absurd dialogues, kneaded together with other found text into a 16” pizza.

The text was stage read in April 2021 at IUA.
