Right-wing populism has not taken root in Iceland as deeply as it has in other Nordic and European countries. But what needs to happen for that to change? Would the political landscape in Iceland be vulnerable to a charming leader who claims tell it like it is? Is someone prepared to take on the role of putting Iceland first at the expense of further division, violence and ignorance? Maybe someone who has not been cast in any decent roles after graduating from drama school?

Minn eigin Hamlet (My Own Hamlet) is a stageplay for one actor. It was conceived and written in a 2 week class in IUA. It was stage read by Jökull Smári Jakobsson at the end of the class via a closed stream.
